Those temps are pretty high my E8400 doesn't go above 64C full load anymore and tends to hover around 62-63C usually all while being clocked at 4.0GHz. Compxpert Posted July 12, 2008 Posted July 12, 2008 (edited) Since you vcore isn't high enough to denote those high temps then the heatsink would likely be the problem. Either that or ambient temp. Whats the temp like in the room this computer is in? How is the heatsink mounted, what kind of Thermal Paste, how was it applied. If it was applied well then maybe the heatsink isn't quite flat which could be checked with a razors edge.
