Overclock Extreme 6800

hi guys i have read and watched that many different ways to over clock the cpu and ram it has totally confused me so i would like some help i currently use ai overclock but have been told it would be better doing it manualy

this is my system

Translation: No it's because it hears you talk like this and it doesn't like you.

Those temps are pretty high my E8400 doesn't go above 64C full load anymore and tends to hover around 62-63C usually all while being clocked at 4.0GHz.

Since you vcore isn't high enough to denote those high temps then the heatsink would likely be the problem. Either that or ambient temp. Whats the temp like in the room this computer is in? How is the heatsink mounted, what kind of Thermal Paste, how was it applied. If it was applied well then maybe the heatsink isn't quite flat which could be checked with a razors edge.
