momoceio Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 I hope I am not breaking any rules here by linking to another site but:http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark%2c18130114 This little thread has helped me out alot FYI: You don't need to edit the user.js file directly, firefox actually provides an easy way to do this. Open your browser and type about:config in the address bar.
wevsspot Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 FYI: You don't need to edit the user.js file directly, firefox actually provides an easy way to do this. Open your browser and type about:config in the address bar. But if you don't create and save a user.js file in your profile folder, whenever Firefox updates it will over-write the settings you changed or created via about:config The beauty of the user.js script is that it will re-write the about:config file even if it has been changed due to a Firefox update. Jachyra007 Posted January 17, 2008 Posted January 17, 2008 I've got several addons: FoxClocks Adblock FEBE Easy Guestures Forecastfox IE Tab/IE View Download Statusbar CLEO colorful tabs But one thing I just figured out is that with my dynamic 2d/3d driver level clocks, Firefox will cause the 3D settings to be used, anyone know why/could verify that? MBM5 had the cpu at 675, but after closing Firefox it went back to 580. I didnt have any crazy pages open, just tracking numbers from Newegg and DIY-Street. Thoughts?
