hawkeyefan Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 good= understatement. all five of these reported so far have been stable 2800mhz@ stock volts and seem to hit 3ghz with water no problem. right now I'm priming@ 3000mhz 1.582v just a few minutes in on AIR. got mine Saturday, haven't pushed it much yet, though it's running Rosetta 24/7 @ 2950mhz 1.513v on the rig in sig:) no errors yet after nearly 2 days;) got impatient w/benching and priming as I wanted to get back to Rosetta, but this is what I've got so far...can't wait to pop the ihs next week LCBIE 0618EPMW (Toledo) batch #0686 2800mhz @ 1.35v priming 3+hrs 3000mhz SP32M @ 1.568v quick run: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=110261 3100mhz SP1M @ 1.568v quick run: http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=110263 only run so far of 3DMark06, 3070mhz @ 1.568v

Redbeaver Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 1.35V doesnt work too well for me... crashed at 2.3Ghz remember, i have SLI Infinity... not Ultra... now prime-ing at 2.4Ghz @1.45V.... edit: not patient. trying 2.8 now... XD edit: [email protected].... doing good so far...
hawkeyefan Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 did you try 2800@ stock, or just go from 2.4>>2.8 and stay at 1.45v? 1.35v might do it...
dejv Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 is the toledo better than manchester ?
bleach Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 omg lucky you. I have a really bad 3800+ that wont do 2.6ghz w/o voltage. If anyone could link me to where I can find that stepping it would be much appreciated!
Redbeaver Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 at 1.35, even 2.3Ghz got errors, boost to 1.45 (used to run my venice at 1.675, so im generous with volts...) and passed 2.3, 2.4, and 2.8 now... didnt really try 1.35 at 2.8, but i just doubt it lol... almost 20 min now... at 30, i'll bump it to 2.9, test wit superpi, if crash, more volt, if not, 3.0... *cross finger*, then start SP again... and i just noticed u got BigTyphoon too! Toledo is the 1Mb cache, Manchester is 512k. Mine is Manchester since its 512... but why CPUZ call it Toledo? some theories said CPUZ sux, some said AMD castrate 512kb out of some Toledos and call it Manchester for sales purposes.... who knows.... omg lucky you. I have a really bad 3800+ that wont do 2.6ghz w/o voltage. If anyone could link me to where I can find that stepping it would be much appreciated! i got mine at NCIX.com. canadian site... they just got a bunch of those steppings in stock (altho i wont guarantee u) since i was on line wit the old stock, then they run out, and i got the new batch (which turns out to be 0618/2006 week18)... im just ASSUMING the rest of this batch have the same steppings.... heck for $179CAD i dont complain
Redbeaver Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 w00t lookin good... edit: 2.9Ghz @1.45 can pass SuperPi 3x, but failed on SPrime at around 2 seconds lol... currently running at 1.55 for 2.9Ghz.......... btw, did i tell u how happy i am wit Everest 3.0?? it freakin reads my CPU temps darn well!! CPDMF Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Nice CPU dude. The stepping I have is a LDBFE 0608, it goes to 2.6 on 1.42 volts, 2700 takes 1.55. Wasn't expecting much out of it and didn't really care what stepping it was since it's going to be my dad's rig anyway. A 2.0 dual core is more than enough for what he needs. Toledos with bad cache, unbinned Manchesters, who knows?
