Angry_Games Posted October 21, 2006 Posted October 21, 2006 if you want to make entries into the database(s), the rules call for dual Prime95 for any socket939 platform.
Angry_Games Posted January 21, 2007 Posted January 21, 2007 please keep in mind that the Overclocking Database and Stock Speed Database now require either SP2004 (single core) or Orthos (dual core). Prime95 cannot be used for DB entries!
badarthur Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 Any Idea's how I set up for a A Quad core with Orthos I tryed 2 diferent Ortho's at the same time thinking that Ide get first 1and2 then I started another Ortho's and got 1 and 2 again. Dang it I was hoping to get 3and 4 but that didnt work out. BA
Angry_Games Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 I haven't tried Orthos on the quad that I'm testing, but you can always run Prime95 with 4 instances. The mods are debating exactly which program(s) to use for the new quads that are becoming popular. Praz has also listed a new version of Prime95 in the rules that will run on 4 cores.
