Heat Sensor

I was wondering where is the best place to put the little flat plastic heat sensor that goes to the temperature display led for the pentium 4 cpu.

you can place it near the socket (or slot) or under the motherboard in the center of the processor (if that is possible)

if ur careful you can tape it under the cpu, and run it inbetween the pins and then seat the cpu the wires will be thin enough..

I have mine right beside the heatsink, so im not gettign the hot air blowing on it but the actual temp. Pretty accurate.

the problem with probes and p4s are that the probe is usually too big for the processor so you cant tape it to the bottom. but someone said putting in the socket. thats an awesome idea. by slot did you mean the dip in the socket 478. meaning theres the processor platform. then theres a hole in the middle. ugh i know i cant explain it well but i hope you get whaty i mean.
