Burleyboy Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 ExRoadie, I agree they are pretty minor fluctuations. I have never touched the probes with my hand to get any film on it, and I insert the probes in the molex and let gravity do the rest, I don't hold on to them and cause any movement. I tested the same way with my Enermax and there was very little movement. I just wish if it was going to fluctuate, it would do it on the high side, and reach +5v. If you don't feel it's any kind of issue, I'll take your word for it. Thanks
red930 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 Just remember that the time of year can make a difference due to the power grid. These modern power supplies do a really good job of keeping the voltages in line but the quality of the input makes a difference. I would only be concerned if you were using a lab certified power input and saw much wider fluctuations. ExRoadie, I agree they are pretty minor fluctuations. silencer51 Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 So, is this the best PSU available? I 'll be getting a new PSU in a couple of months and I want it to be: a) well made with rock solid voltages B) sufficient for the next year or so Which is better? The OCZ or the Enermax Liberty 620W? yfital Posted July 31, 2006 Posted July 31, 2006 the best? naa, the best are PCnQ probably, 1kw... this one is very good, can hold CF and SLI (700w) pretty good, and has pretty solid rails... The ocz is considered better then the enermax...

Although I'm not familiar with your local retailers, I would guess that your best bet would be to find a retailer (local or online) that sells OCZ Products, and request the GameXstream by model number. dab Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 Where did you get your modstream? Could you try the same source?? If you haven't already, send an email to the guys at http://www.avf.com.my . they serve Malaysia, and will likely be able to source what you're looking for.
