JJHx2005 Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I read a project on GideonTech.com and decided to try it out for myself. Since I haven't used my dremel yet, I thought it looked easy enough for me to start with. Tell me what you think of it. (My camera sucks btw.) This is the picture I used to trace. http://www.art.com/asp/sp.asp?PD=10080271

Montol Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Nice work. Better then most dremel etching I've seen. Nice job
JJHx2005 Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I did it with a grinding bit. Are there other bits that are better for this project? This was the first time I EVER used my dremel. It looks a lot better in person because as I said, "My camera sucks."

Psywar Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 Looks nice... I dont get it -is stupid- lol Sublime is a Band.. a very good band at that.. Very nice Etching.. what did u use for the etch? the engraver?
JJHx2005 Posted October 9, 2003 Posted October 9, 2003 I used a sander. I don't remember the number, but it isn't the right tool for the job. Today I went out and bought an engraver, part #105 I think and my newest etches are MUCH better. Not nearly as rough as what the sander was.
