OCZ or silverstone?

Provided you don't HAVE to get something right now - just to keep running, ....

1) From what RGone has said

plus

2) From what is reported at all the latest computer shows

NOTHING, right now! :eek2:

RGone is reporting bigtime trouble with ALL the PSUs, except the FPS 700W.

And he seems uncertain as to its suatability for the hardware comming up even later this year-next year (if I read him right).

And the reports from ALL the major PSU makers at the shows ALL say they are about to introduce PSU's at 1000W and above!

I kinda like Silverstone - provided you keep the rails ballanced.

But I woudn't buy anything over $100 RIGHT NOW if I could avoid it.

Check out the show reviews yourself.

There must be SOME reason EVERYONE is moving to 1000W.

hey can u show me the link with all the PSU? I wanna see them.. When will they be released?

Neither, Fortron Epsilon 700watt. But if I had to pick one, Silverstone. Unless you want to wait like a week or so, then OCZ. They are releasing the OCZ GameXStream (ZipZoomFly has them listed), 600 and 700 watt modles. They are pretty much identical to Fortrons as far as specs, I heard even that there might be Fortron guts inside.

Im also about to invest in the St60F - has anyone got one running a NF4 DFi?

Are they good with this mobo and for a little O/C - nothing too huge?

I am no good with PSU stuff so just checkin.... Would love a powerstream but not available in Australia as yet - something about 240V....

Had the same dilemma before, but I still went for the OCZ since it is the top pick for the DFI NF4 mobo's.
