PhoetuS Posted April 2, 2006 Posted April 2, 2006 The video card makes the biggest difference in 3DMark scores... my 3DMark05 score is 8021. before i oc'd my video card my score was about 7500, altough that was with a factory overclock... don't know what a vanilla 7800gt would score like... I also read that there is suppose to be a damn patch for amd cpus. I have a opty175, i went to their website and I dont know which one to dl. There a few differents ones. I also read there's suppose to be a hotfix and you have to mess around with registry key and crap like that. I'm a newbie so I really don't feel comfortable doing that. I just downloaded the new driver from tweaksrus.com 84.22v2. 3dmark05: 7101 3dmark06: 3931 SM2.0 1558 HDR/SM3.0 1555 CPU 1669 I really don't know what they mean so hopefully you can explain it to me.
