Thank u all for ur advises. ..

Im gonna start to climb my way up to 2,8Ghz or that 2,7 (Again)

Time is a issue for me, that i dont have it too much..

These settings i have had for a month (outoftheBOX)

This is my second mb (K8N neo pla, first, burned) And a second CPU (NewCastle)

So, smelling the smoke isnt the first time...

I could be all wet here, but I am just going by what I have seen here that none I have seen has gone over 2600 on AMD64 3000+

That's pretty true for most newcastle 3000's, but the venice cores seem to clock higher with some work.

theres no need for smoke stay below 1.7 with that stock cooler and not much over sperts of 55c eather.theres a tread on uccc chips here if you get off them tight timings you can get 260 out of them but it dont mater one way or the other use a divider if you wont tight timings

Hello!

MB seems to be the limit at the moment..

Settings when tested:

Chipset: 1,8V~1,9V

HT 3x~2,5

1,5V + 1,10%=1,65V (not tested much @1,7) any voltage sucs? (i have a row sheet for difr. multi..)

@ 270x10=2,7GHz, mem 150/200x270= 202.5 (memtest 195Mhz) Prime stable.

(tested 2hrs --> stabe for me) Tested from a UltimateBootcd..

But not stable when booted to BartPE

bootable live windows. When started everest ultimate on it, crash.. Texsture corruption.

I Have Seagate SATA 80 gig for windows (RAID) and a 160 PATA maxtor (RAID). Seagate is on port 3 (been in 4)

Any way to get around this?

And i just dont get figured out my mem..? What ever "LOOSE" timings i try.. I get a total red line of errors in memtest 1.55 in the end of test 5..

Must be something with the mobo..

The rev. is A1 the first i think...

Stockcooled mb...

CASECOOLERS:

80mm on memory

120mm intake fan (aimed to mb chip&GPU)

120mm CPU/CASE fan (100CFM=100% & 100db sound )

120mm PSU fan

Mb 40~50c

cpu 37~42c

E3 venice 3000, 10xstock multi

Gskill mem MAX oc 216MHZ

Aim ex. 2,7GHz or (2,8)

FSB stability needed..

260x10, mem @ 5/6 ~216MHz = stable, AGP 69-79

2,7 was yesterday stable in prime (booting cd) but NO go in windows
