ReD.SkY Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 Better than the XP-120 with a panaflo on it. Granted you could probably get a higher performance fan to make the 120 better, but personally I HATE the stupid clips that are on it. how much of a temp difference was there? Cyberparasite Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 ']Question: does anyone here have the Thermaltake Big Typhoon with a better fan on it?Is there a big performance increase. 120mm delta and yes about 6c gain in my current config. Anonymous1 Posted December 31, 2005 Posted December 31, 2005 xp-90 with a vantec jet-engine keeps me at 17-22C idle, and 37-40C load; depending on what season it is and how hot the house is in the summer.

Guest st_clancy Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Hmmm, I'm also deciding, xp-90 or big typhoon? because their almost priced the same only $5 difference. Is the typhoon difficult to install? This will be my first full build, And im so scared of crushing my CPU... like a bug!

shadowing Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Scythe Ninja is overall the best imo. Here is my reasoning: 1. It has 12 pipes 2. You can fit up to 4 fans on it 3. The mounting retention is MUCH better than the BT at least
