They are a local band my cousins told me about last week...

If interested, they have a myspace...I'm sure you'll be able to find it.

Other songs on the list:

Quimby mountain band - Drip Drop

Joe Satriani - Searching

Joe Satriani - Love Thing

Brian Kahanek - Gemini

Been getting into a lil bit harder stuff.

Mudvayne Lost and Found, not all of the songs just the ones where he sings.

Disturbed Ten Thousand Fists

Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death ( the latest album by Maiden)

Got a lot of Pantera from a good mate, didn't seem to like it though.

Any recomends as to what bands are smilar to the first three but not like Pantera.

May sound evil to a few fans of Pantera but thats my tastes i like more singing and thick guitar work compared to screamo.

Big Maiden fan here from way back

Give Mastodon a listen - i recently got their Leviathan album, & i'm liking it a lot. You can hear a lot of Maiden influence, as well as a few others.

Also, try Iced Earth - plenty of Maiden influence there.

oh - Children of Bodom are definately worth a mention here as well.

I'm in it for the axe-work as well, but i'll put up with the screaming if the tunes are good :)

..recently got myself a new valve amp - Peavey ValveKing 100. Compared to my crappy practice amp i've had forever, this thing is great!
