Disturbed Ten Thousand Fists Iron Maiden A Matter Of Life And Death ( the latest album by Maiden) :drool: Got a lot of Pantera from a good mate, didn't seem to like it though. Any recomends as to what bands are smilar to the first three but not like Pantera. Big Maiden fan here from way back :cool: Give Mastodon a listen - i recently got their Leviathan album, & i'm liking it a lot. You can hear a lot of Maiden influence, as well as a few others. Also, try Iced Earth - plenty of Maiden influence there. oh - Children of Bodom are definately worth a mention here as well. I'm in it for the axe-work as well, but i'll put up with the screaming if the tunes are good ..recently got myself a new valve amp - Peavey ValveKing 100.
