New System wont boot

Recommended Posts

Read the tutorial, and went through the initial build up.

1 stick of ram, 1 gpu ,all powercables connected in their spots.

Now as I try to boot nothing happens, I also get no led light up(no leds are on).

lol  all that exitement & a bad movie, know what u mean.

Your using power button omn mobo yep??

Can u confirm that 4pin 12v is plugged in can't pick it out in pic.

went for a smoke
- don't just stopped cold turkey on the nicotine gum :) a beer is better 4 u

Are you getting any led activity

you want to remove CPU & repeat above clear cmos with nothing attached then

means you'll need to clean the old paste of & reapply.

another bad scene.

If nothing then may be worthwhile unplugging your psu attaching a fan & shorting

it just to see if it starts. have a pic of how but its only a 20pin but it shows the how

PSU Test

Use 24 pin oin out for reference to which pins to use.

(14 & 15)

luck :)

I've had exactly the same problem... but wasn't a new build.

One day, the first time I come to switch it on and nada! no lights no nothing...

Nothing has been tampered with, there have been no shorts and no power spikes... then tried for ages randomly pressing the power on.. and running around blaming people for touching my computer and then randomly it starts up after I press the switch and started up as normal... ???

Now it's done it again, but this time, it's not starting up at all???

wtf is up with this board??

Does anyone have any idea as i'd hate to have to strip everything down and RMA it...
