Sharp Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 Hello, Yes the Teamgroup one will work at 2-2-2-5. What about a 2x1GB kit?
cornel Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 2*1GB it's expensive, if is TeamGroup or OCZ. Maybe Elixir or Sycron, but this is poorly. Finally, you recommend-my the kit from TeamGroup?
xidus Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 i want to grab a 2gb kit before they are all gone here in australia. I've come down to two kits - the OCZ Performance (400mhz, 3-3-3-7) and the G.Skill 2GBNS (400mhz, 2.5-3-3-6). They will be used with two CPUs - the Opteron 150, and owith the 3700+, both on the nF4 Ultra-D. Will these kits work with those memory controllers and that board? xidus Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Thanks Sharp, I think I'll go the OCZ - the timings are a bit looser at stock but they OC better apparently also its nice and cheap.
ReelFiles Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 I ordered 2GB (2 x 1GB) Patriot DDR500 Model # PDC2G4000ELK from Newegg. I believe they are UCCC chips. Any recommendations? Like which Bios or some advanced settings I should pay attention to? I am also getting a Vigor Gaming Monsoon II, so I am hoping to get into the 2.8 - 3GHz range with these badboys.
