Guest Tmod Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 My modded NF3 623 bios was tested by two different members with no issues from either. Thanks to AAdjuster, CPDMF & Torch for testing it. I will be placing this modded bios as well as some others on my bios flash cd. Tmod
Shinobi Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 I have memory with TCCD chips and they don't like tied timings, however I can make easily and stabile MemTest at 255Mhz with 2.5,3,3,6 timings. It would be better to have NF3 or NF4 board  . If you would like to send me a bios, my email address is in my profile. Ok. I'll just finish off the boot logo i made for it then put it up for download and send you the link.
Kolos Posted October 17, 2005 Posted October 17, 2005 @Shinobi Ok. @Tmod How does "Flash Bios From Hard Drive" work? I have NTFS filesystem on C: drive and when I execute that option I get access to drive A: (CD/DVD) only.
Guest Tmod Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 How does "Flash Bios From Hard Drive" work? I have NTFS filesystem on C: drive and when I execute that option I get access to drive A: (CD/DVD) only. I have to straighten that out. If you look under System utilities you will see NTFS for DOS. That should allow you to flash from a NTFS partition in DOS. I am going to be moving "Flash From Hard Drive" to the system utilities as it applies to all bios's and not just the ones on the CD. The next release will be a NEW iso file as I am adding some NF3 bios's and rearranging some of the menu items. MemTest will be moved to System Utilities. It is just a way to flash the bios from a cd without having to create one. This is not a bios rescue cd, although it will perform a blind flash if that is what you are referring to. Thanks for explanation. You won't believe, in a first place I couldn't get to my C: drive by using "NTFS fot DOS" because of very banal thing. Namely, when I got message "Do you use this version of NTFS4DOS for private usage only (Yes/No):", I typed "Yes" instead of only "Y" :shake:. glow Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I'm curious here. The kill cmos feature is a trojan? KillCMOS-J [Trj]
Guest Tmod Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 I'm curious here. The kill cmos feature is a trojan? KillCMOS-J [Trj] Some Anti-Trojan programs will give a false positive, I can reassure you it is not a trojan. Others have had the same question. Avast seems to be the most popular at giving the false positive. Tmod
