  1. My 3400 was pretty poor by all counts, only managed a further 200mhz. My 3700 claw is much better, managed a further 450mhz over the standard clock.
  2. You could always buy the 7800GS AGP card that's coming out soon. But you would have to stay with AGP which might be a bad idea
  3. I'm running @ 1.525 with 113%, which equates to about 1.723volts Cooling setup is a D-tek LRWW combined with an Aquaextreme 50Z pump and a thermochill 120.3 radiator with 3 Panaflo L1A fans running at 12v. Idle temps are about 24 degrees according to smart guardian (cold room though) I used to run at 2.7ghz with 1.65v when I was running on air
  4. I can recommend either the 05/04 or the 06/23 bios. I'm currently running @ 2.85ghz with the same chip as you
  5. It's on TMODs bios cd. http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22031
  6. I'm not that keen on the on-board fan headers. Plugged a Vantec Iceburg into the bottom one and the fan didn't even spin up, so I used a 3pin - 4pin molex adaptor jobby.
  7. I had a similar problem once. I.P. address was set to be obtain from DHCP, but it kept giving me an address like yours, or very similar. A simple un-plug and re-plug of the cable and I was back to a DHCP I.P. address. Got fed up of this happening and got a D-Link DFE-530TX instead. Not had a problem since.
  8. You can flash the bios without a floppy drive. Use this CD : http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22031
  9. When you upgraded your graphics card did you completely remove the old drivers? If you want to upgrade your BIOS, then this CD is probably best http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22031 Make sure you clear your CMOS before doing so. Latest motherboard drivers are here http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce3_winxp_5.11 What Catalyst drivers are you using?
  10. I was running the chip at 240FSB 1:1 (11 multi) when I had my old Corsair 512MB BH-6 sticks. That was fast! But now I've got 1GB sticks, I usually run it on a divider as the memory can't go that high, about 215fsb is my limit with tight timings. Currently running the chip @ 300fsb with a 133 divider with an 8 multi (which stock speeds I know)
  11. My 3400 only used to goto about 2.6ghz at best, whilst my 3700+ claw I've had up to 2.8ghz
  12. My 3700+ CG Claw runs my two 1GB sticks at 1T fine
  13. I've used one of these on my last 3 boards I've had, including my current DFI board. Vantec Iceberq CCB-A1C VGA & Chipset cooling kit (SY-000-VT) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/cop..._of_Vantec.html
  14. Are you running an early BIOS? My readings used to be slightly off, but I upgraded to a recent BIOS and the temp problem was fixed.
