Guest Tmod Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 The filefront link is not working anymore. Thanks for the tip. I just reloaded it back up ( Plug for Verizon's Fios 16mb up in less then a minute gotta love that ) and the damn thing still leads to 404 page not found. I guess they are having problems with filefront. Do you think you could put Shinobi's Exocet BIOS for the NF2 Ultra Infinity on the CD? You bet but it is going to have to be tomorrow before I can fix that up. I will create a patch that has that update in it as well. I will send you a PM with a link for that when I git-r-done. I guess it would really depend on how many bioses/size of latest CD download as far as time saved/ease of use. but it sure worked for me. Well the iso is a little over 16mb in size and the patch is under 1mb so you can see the savings in just bandwidth alone for any updates. It does take a little more of my time as I have to update the ISO then I have to create the patch. Glad it worked for you Carl!! Thanks for the feedback and testing!!! soundx98 Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Geez T, I realize now that it is much easier and faster for you. I was selfishly looking at it from the user's side of things. (ashamed blush) excuse my ignorance in my post above, was looking at an MBM5 centerfold
Shinobi Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Patch works great! Theres problems with Flashing From HardDrive though which i've PM'ed you about. I think that might possibly be just down to NTFS for DOS, i don't know. Got a couple of more bios files for the Infinity if you want to add them. A "fixed" version of TicTacs 3DFire R2 to change it into a proper Infinity Bios and prevent the chance of it not flashing or bad flashing like has happened with a very small minority of ppl, and a full Infinity version of the 619XT. r00ter4u Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 i'll assume this won't work with Lanparty A3?
Shinobi Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 You mean DFI nForce2 LanParty A? If so, no. There are no bios' on the CD for the old Lanparty A.
Guest Tmod Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Thanks Tmod. I really wasn't expecting it today! Even next week would be OK. Check your PM, You have a link waiting for you!! Theres problems with Flashing From HardDrive though which i've PM'ed you about. I think that might possibly be just down to NTFS for DOS, i don't know. That is the problem with free stuff, sometimes it is a hit or miss thing. I will check into it though, Guess I will have to install 2000 or XP on my other partitions and do some testing. Shinobi, Do you have a link for that updated TicTac 6-19 with that new part number? I put Shinobi's Exocet_6-19 in the latest patch, Same download link. EDIT: BTW the filefront link is working fine now. Tmod
Pyr0 Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Hi Great idea Tmod Has anyone tried patching the iso in windows x64 yet? could i be sent the link for the patch please?
soundx98 Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 Sorry Tmod and Pyr0, I should have said I WAS using x64 Edition The flash from the HDD sends me right to C:
Guest Tmod Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 The flash from the HDD sends me right to C: If I misunderstand your comment my apologies. It will send you straight to C: as I have no idea what file or motherboard you are going to be flashing. Basically to flash from the Hard Drive you will need to create a folder with the bios file and Awdflash in it and then just use the CD as a boot disk sort of speak. Thanks for the update on what OS you were using. Tmod
soundx98 Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 hehehe. I was trying to say it worked fine for me But I am not sure if it will ever be of use to me. I'd probably just hassle you for an update again. Just updated with XP Pro32. I think I may have the "World Record" for Tmod CDs. I may use them as Halloween treats. Guest Tmod Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 hehehe. I was trying to say it worked fine for me That's what I had thought, but then I figured I would put in that note in case I did misunderstand. I agree as to the usefulness of that part as well. But I try and implement whatever the members ask for. I think I may have the "World Record" for Tmod CDs. I have the record for bad Tmod's CD2 copies. I didn't use the rewritable cd when I first started this project. Anyone need coasters? Tmod
