Danger Temp For Amd 64 3500?

just outta sheer curiosity what would the highest temp be to be in the danger zone for a 3500 newcastle.???im runnin about 40ish C right now, not worried.

ok cool b/c after playin far cry i closed the game and mbm5 was saying i was at 52C. i was about to flip out but it never chugged a bit.

yea, around 60C i would look for a new cooler. When i pumped 1.7v into my 3500+ it got to about 52C load with an xp-120. But around 1.6 it loads @ 42C and 1.65 it loads around 45C. Honesltly, i dont think you would be able to maintain a stable oc with 60C

About the same 60C is where OCing should become an issue, about 65-70C at stock would be dangerous.

On a side question, SVTmofo where did you get a motherboard monitor to work with AMD 64's? i tought it didn't work with the 64 line

If you are using a dfi mobo there is a guy over on thier forums who made a config file for the NF4 dfi's.Here's a link so far it has matched smartguardian and bios on mine.
