So Trump is the newly elected President of the United States...

I've believed all along this has been an election cycle not about the specific candidates who were running, but about policies, platforms and visions of what America is, has been and wants to be moving ahead in the future.  Face it, the aggressive, progressive, ultra-left liberals have managed to piss off a lot of Joe and Jane six pack types over the last 8 years.  Not to mention evangelicals, 2nd Amendment supporters, Constitutionalist types etc,

The uneducated / under-educated, white male, blue collar, basket of deplorables decided enough was enough.  Talk about discrimination............... to infer that everyone that voted for Trump fits into one of the previously mentioned categories is as racist and discriminatory as you can get.  In the end, the fact that Hillary had more than enough years in public office to "show" her true colors certainly didn't do her any favors.

I for one favor living in a country that (I hope) is going to stop trying to democratize the world and stop being the world's policeman.  Why does America always have to be the country that pours out the blood of our sons and daughter's, our treasure and our tears to help countries around the world that at their core really hate America and Americans.  (And I say that with all due respect to our allies around the world that have done the same through the generations).  Not trying to make this an America only thing.

I for one favor living in a country where if you have man's parts you use the men's restroom and if you have women's parts you use the women's restroom.

I for one favor living in a country where a vocal, radical few can't drive the agenda, policies and political correctness of an entire nation.  I don't need safe spaces for each individual, I need a safe space for my family and my fellow countrymen/women.

I for one favor living in a country where if I'm legally able to do so I can buy, use and sell the firearms of my choice.

I for one favor living in a country where states deal with the major social issues of the times based on the wishes of the majority of their constituents, not mandated by the federal government (same for the Fed Department of Education and Common Core Standards)

I could go on and on, but from my perspective the plans that Trump and his team have laid out for their first 100 days in office seem reasonable, well thought out and achievable and I believe that for many mainstream Americans his vision is the same vision we share.

But for all of the doomsday, #neverTrumpers I've got another news flash for you.  I think you'll find that Trump is a lot more central in his social agenda (and that's assuming he even has one) than any other Republican candidate that has run for the office since I can't remember when.

@ Frank New Permera premium ~$500. One month insulin is already $1300 cash. Big pharma has just as many lobbyists as the insurance industry. Which money should he follow?

$1300 for insulin? How many units? Walmart has, without insurance, Novalin N 10 mL for $25...

Believe me Jeff I get it on health care premiums. Doctors get kickbacks for prescribing the latest and greatest drugs when there are more cost effective drugs on the market that do the same thing and are proven.  Health care for all is a noble idea but someone has to pay for it. Plain and simple. I for one do not feel the need to be that generous with the money I make to feed, cloth and house my family.  The affordable health care act is a sham that handicaps more people financially than anything else. By that I mean that the plans are not affordable, even if you qualify for the subsidies that you and I as taxpayers pay for. It penalizes companies for offering better plans than what are available in the "market" so everyone ends up with high cost high deductible plans that cover less and less each year. I for one am fed up with paying for the abuses tendered by the left who want to steal my earnings to pay for health care for all those who cannot or do not work. Provide cell phones and homes for those unwilling to build the skills necessary to work or choose to work as little as possible so that "I don't lose my government supplied "benefits". Charity has limits and I for one have reached and breached those limits. Medicare and Medicaid are corrupt and pay out billions in fraudulent expenses every year. There is no personal accountability anymore.

You live in a part of the country that is so dyed in the wool blue its not funny.  Rich idealists that have no real idea of the real vs intended consequences of their socialist agenda. Idealists that cry and become incredibly violent because their candidate did not win the election. Are the Trump supporters out there violently protesting, beating people, looting setting their cities on fire. Nope!

The left has propagated a generation of cry babies who need safe rooms, are intolerant and expect the world on a silver platter.  I'm done!

I hope all his craziness from the campaign is just an act to get the crazy vote. It's pretty disturbing he got elected on that kind of campaign. I really didn't want him to become president, but I've come to the realization it is what it is. I'll give him a chance, since some of his ideas don't seem bad. If he follows through with his crazy promises and bring us back to 1930-1940 type of fear mongering then we have issues. Don't forget we rounded up thousands of Japanese Americans for "national security reasons."

Just saying . Part of this country still thinks Obama is a Muslim.

@ Waco 3 Vials

I only make $14 an hour guys. Rent is 1500. The math is pretty clear.

Afford it or die...

3 vials of 10 mL (1000 units) are $75 at WalMart. Even at CVS they're $180 (each) without insurance...how do you get to $1300 for a month?
