Bosco Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 IMO both Belkin and Linksys belong in the same pile of monkey crap. They were both made for each other
Shurman292 Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Not to derail this thread, but which networking company do you guys find is the most reliable for consumer routers and such. I'm asking because I've had nothing but good luck with Linksys, whereas Belkin and D-link have given me a lot of trouble. I haven't tried Netgear yet
EuroFight Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 D-Link generally works for me, although I have heard bad things about them elsewhere on the forum. My personal favourite is Huawei, although you get mixed feedback on those sometimes too, so it's kind of whatever works for you
EvilGeniusJr Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I love my Asus router, couldn't stand my linksys, dropped all the time and very slow.
d6bmg Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 This means only one one thing: CISCO is no longer interested in SOHO products. This was always on the cards, so I'm not too much surprised by the news.
d6bmg Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Compared to CISCO products, linksys has always been a toy.

Bosco Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 They were very upset about this review. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/belkin_n1/ They were demanding we remove the part about where the CD's didn't work. Needless to say after telling them we would not remove anything they finally left us alone.
