I thought a thread for this existed already? I did a search, couldn't find it.
Anyways, SimCity released today in the US (not sure about your country), who's playing it? I'd love to set up a region for OCC members.

I enjoyed the beta, but I won't be able to purchase this for a while. Not looking forward to hearing one of my friends go on about it until I do. ![]()

There is no multi SINGLEplayer, it has 'always-online' DRM too.

There is multiplayer, in a way. Multiple people can't control the same city, but up to 16 players can be in the same region making their own cities which are dependent on each other for resources, tourists, workers, all that. It's really a fantastic system.

My Origin name is bp9801 (huge surprise) if anyone wants to add for when I do get SimCity. Currently my only Origin games are Mass Effect 3, Spore, and the free copy of Battlefield 1942. ![]()
The always-online is a bit of a pain, though with SimCity it's kind of weird. I get the desire to make it a more accessible game or whatever, but to me, SimCity is a single player game where you can make whatever city you want. Still, I can see it having some benefits so long as people don't build a shanty town next to your metropolis.
