A Refigerated Cooled Pc?
terminator replied to Sworn_Vendetta's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
'I no im asking for alot but hey isn't that what teenagers are suppose to do'? If I can remember back, far enough, I'd say: 'Yep! Probably'. 'I still have a mom' In that case, persuede her you need an oil-cooled pc AND Air conditioning ! Here in the UK, you wouldn't have to worry about cooling your rig. At the moment, you can go outside, and 'snap' dogs off lamposts ! Cheers terminator -
A Refigerated Cooled Pc?

'Google': Puget Systems for more info on an Oil Submerged system. Mineral Oil is what you need, used for 'unblocking' constipated Horses (I assume you have to stand well clear, after administering) Although personally, I wouldn't dream of 'deep fat frying' my expensive gear. <_< And as Commander says: I'd have serious reservations about having a 'nice' coating of non-conductive oil, all over my electrical contacts. Although (Quote: I live in a very hot and humi place ) wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a decent Air Conditioner, then both you and your pc can 'chill-out' ? B:) Cheers terminator -

Cricket Noise From Psu
terminator replied to psycho_terror's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
Looking at your spec, in yoiur sig, why risk your nice kit, on something that could maybe total it ? Unless you have a nearby friendly electronic specialist and it's a really good make of PSU, I'd be very tempted to give it to someone I didn't like. Cheers, all the best terminator -
Htpc Case For Thermalright Ultra 120 Cooler
terminator replied to Jenn's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
Check out the Thermalright Ultima. By all accounts, it's supposed to cool just as well as the Ultra Extreme, even though it's a scaled-down version. Cheers terminator -
I can highly recommend: Praetorians Especially if you enjoy a bit of strategy, for a change, instead of first-person shoot-em-ups, all the time. A (short) playable demo can be downloaded from the web (although you will have to un-install this, before loading the full CD). The graphics in particular are excellent, especially considering it's original release date. Salute Gluteous Maximus (Commander of the Legions of the North) otherwise Cheers terminator

A. Two little boys are talking in the school playground, when suddenly, one of them says: 'What's a Penis' ? The other little boy, has to admit he doesn't know, but promises to ask his Dad. When he gets home he says: 'Hey Dad. What's a Penis' ? Dad, seeing what he thinks to be a perfectly good time to increase his son's sexual knowledge, unzips his trousers, pulls it forth, and (Proudly) says: ' THAT Son', THAT is a Penis' ! Next day the two little boys are back together in the playground, the first one says : 'Did you find out what it was' ? The second one says: ' Yes' ...... 'It was just like a 'willy', really, only SMALLER ! Cheers terminator

Super Awsome Cheap/expensive/bad/gaming Rig Forum
terminator replied to scr4wl's topic in System Builds
About 18 months ago I picked up a QDI Legend Superb m/b complete with 2.6GHz Pent IV Celeron for 8GBP (about 12 Dollars, I think). Got it home, and it worked! Chucked in a VGA (5200(?) and 2 sticks of 512MB 3200 RAM costing a similar amount into an old micro-ATX case, and ended up with a cheap pc which will just about play: Far Cry. (Although it does throw a wobbler now and again, spit out it's dummy, and go a bit jerky) Total cost: about -
Techstation on the Cheap ;)
terminator replied to t_ski's topic in Cases, Power Supplies and Modding
Hi Guys I've seen quite a few 'benchies', and sincere respect, and hat's-off to all you guy's who've made your own :thumbs-up: But I came across this the other day : http://www.vr-zone.com/articles/Micr...ts/5980-2.html That freakin' thing, (with it's twin Radeons) should be in an Art Gallery ! Drool !!! The only let down I can see is: it's astronomical price! I was wondering if any of you lads could make it cheaper ? <_< Modulok_merged's cool looking one, for instance, with clear polycarbonate and m/b location re-sited above, would certainly 'give it a run for it's money' ! I know it's a lot harder to support your graphics cards and wotnot, but let's face it, you paid a lot of good 'brass' for them. Show 'em off ! Show 'em off ! Cheers terminator
