I finally received my Lanparty Nf3 Ultra-D and a new 3700+ San Diego...Now before I was having temp problems with my comp...and I still am! I install the mobo and CPU and start it, the Mobo FAN is going crazy at 5500RPM and its so loud.

My temps:

CPU:55C

VGA:53-55C idle

Mobo:49C

Can the power supply be casuing this? I have a Antec True 480W

I really dont think it is the PSU but you really need to list all of your components in your sig so we can assist you better.

No problem...here they go

A64 3700+ San Diego

DFI NF3 Ultra-D

Geil Ultra DDR400

Redeon X800XT

Antec True 480W 20 pin

Audigy 2 Gamer Ed.

Samsung CD-Rom

Also is there any way I can control the FAN on the mobo? cause its driving me nuts going at 5500RPM...and for some reason the PSU fan is also going at 5500RPM but thats not as loud.

whoops forget that. i thought you had a NF4 board. disregard my previous post.

See what happens when you take off both sides of the case and have a fan blowing into it. If that reduces the temps, you need to have better airflow. Have you tried using AS5???

EDIT: go into your UserCPEdit Signature... and save it to make a sig.

CPU voltage is 1.4 so its not that high...I have a thermaltake venus 12 for my CPU and thats suppose to be on of the best.

ANYONE know how I can control the mobo fan? its SOO loud

Who told you that? It is a POS!

Get a Thermalright XP-90 with a 92mm Panaflo 57CFM or 68CFM.

$25 at Jab-Tech & SVC. ;)
