I just bumped it down to 580x100 and its now a whopping 21k...

i didnt intend for it to be that size, can you post the new sig here or something?

embarassment dosnt sit well with me, so im going to take a break from here until my SI-97a gets here.

heck, i just cant do it, staying away from here is like not eating .

thanks for the optimization shinobi, hopefully i can make up for my hard headedness :tooth:

going to copy the second smaller image to my photobucket account so you can kill them now.

i have now laped my 9600 heatsink to a offical mirror finish, and i gained nothing.

also modded an old GFX card cooler to put a cube of ice onr it, still no higher clocks so its maxed.

im sure a U400S-AL would be a unique addition to the OcDB.

also a bit of good news, apart from APIC everything else is turned on and she is still singing (mosfets that is) and is still just as stable.

also redid the warmod with no luck in DC, but its prolly my ram.

and BTW here is the busted cap on my 9600 and some system shots since i decided to further lap its heatsink:

Missing CAP:

$14 heatsink:

my heatsink lap results:

overall system shot:

so what do you guys think?

Charlie, those pics are

HUMONGOUS

You see, when you use the [bIMG] Tags the image size is reduced but the file size isn't... A lot of ppl probably don't realise that.

Its best to use www.imageshack.us for large files and use the "Thumbnail" link it gives you...

Anyway, very nice lapping there :) Shame you didn't gain any extra benefits for your hard work :(

How come you haven't got that fan on straight?

i have had my share of problems with imageshack (like losing my images on their server), so i went photobucket.

edited the pics to web links.

that heatsink orignaly had a LOUD 70mm fan on it, so after i trashed the deep impact i kept its fans and used the 60mm to 8mm fan converter, and since it wasnt exact it went on crooked.

laping did improve cpu cooling, but not GPU cooling that i can tell.

im looking for a way to vmod my GPU core now so i can get its clock up, wish me luck..

Charlie if I had my LP b to test out these 5 2x256 BH5 ram,I'd send you 2 so you could try and get some good bench scores, you'd just have to pay shipping both ways.

What vdimm you got on that MB

my vdimm max is 2.9v, i wish you could test'em too, i would love to push some FSB on this thing, and as always i have no problem paying round trip shiping ;) .

im itching to get that SI-97a here, ive actualy thought of meeting the truck halfway  .

im going to do some burn-in on my ram at max V's at 230FSB, and BTW my ram dosnt even get warm when i push it like that so i dont have to active cool it ;)
