Guest oRiOn Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I see a ton of people saying they hit such and such fsb at such and such multiplier. But what do you really run your comp at 24/7? Do you leave it at your max stable overclock, or do you hit it down 5 fsb maybe more? I am inquirering because I dont want to suck the life of my components to 3 months instead of 1 year :shake: oRiON
FLD Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 The first system in my sig runs 24/7 at that speed. I could have pushed it 5 MHz higher at .1 Vdimm more but I do not see any reason why I should do that since it causes wears and tears on the ram more than what it's really worth. CPU Killer Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 see sig, all rigs run 24/7... But I reboot them once every day or so. Depends on what I am going to be doing on the rig...
