GIASAN Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 1 + 2 and 3 + 4 is dual channel....check the pic. So the manual is wrong. What have at DFI?? This mobo seems invisible on the site (no bios and non beta bios only drivers). Manual is wrong ecc ecc.
split Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 1 + 2 and 3 + 4 is dual channel....check the pic. Talk about confusing. The Neo2 manual and the DFI say totally the opposite. DFI Manual even says.. Dual Channel DIMMs of the same memory configuration are on different channels. It isnt on different channels if it's in DIMMs 1 and 2 is it. DriveEuro Posted June 17, 2005 Posted June 17, 2005 That is the .pdf you are referring too' date=' i mean the printed manual. I have the manual in my hand now, and it'is the same figure of the pdf. If 1-2 are channel A and 3-4 are channel B are you sure that for the dual ch i must put my mem in 1-2 or 3-4 and not 1-3 or 2-4? Thank That's bogus. The manual shows opposite, implying dimm 1 and 3 give you dual channel. I'll try 1&2 I guess... can't print the damn manual right... Have a look at the RAID guide here for the K8N Neo Platinum (works the same on the Neo 2 nforce3 board as well and other Nforce3 boards) Yeah I know it's a diff board, but you may get some ideas
