How does that Asus A8N32-SLI compare to the expert??? OC better or worse ect.. I just about had it with this board Im on my second RMA and it seems to just get worse, first the boot issue then the floppy stopped working I thought no biggie I shall just get another floppy drive, got a new one and the mobo still does not recognize the floppy and to make things worse the mofo bios settings reset to default after a cold boot now. Im going the send the peice of junk back and eat the 15% restocking fee..

One thing I see most of us have in comon is the OCZ PowerStream 520W I got my second board bac from RMA and still have the same problems.

I just jumped on the RMA wagon after many hours of tweeking & swaping parts with no luck... any u guys having luck with the boot issue?

Has anyone tried this bios?? I have TCC5 and runs like crap no better than my NF3 939 Ultru...I wonder if it's worth the flash.

260 failed for me I tried 260HTT with my same settings as 250 and 8 Hours memtest stable but fails superPi withen one minute fails prime too. can you post your settings genie bios settings please. Thanks!

Does this do anything?? Default is 100Mhz does uping the frequency help overclocks in any way...

Does everbody elses boot up screen look like the pic below? I was reading a thread over at xtremesystems and came across this pic and was suprised how good it look my boot up screen look like a 16 color bitmat version of the pic below. Im just curious why mine looks like crap...

Hi guys, my problem is that i can't seem to get this board stable no matter what I have everythink @ stock speeds all settings in bios are default except raid is set for sata 1 & 2. windows is very unstable prime 95 stops after 2 seconds all components are the same ones used on my prior nf3 ultra 939 set up except the video card. Please help..

My bad... I was using everest to monitor the temp it seems to always say 50C I just installed n-tune and it says 29C hmmm... my guess its closer to 29C. I am starting to like this board I am up and running on the first day!!! my last board was the nf3 939 ultra it took my a week and a half to get the darn thing to boot to windows. and 9141 for the first run at 3dmark05 on the expert

Hi guys I jumped on the expert wagon! This board doesn't like my memory I having a hard time getting stable with 2 sticks. my questions is how hot is to hot right now im running at 2.8gz Ide is about 50C!

2T CPC has always been set... even with 2 sticks this board doesn't works with 1T CPC. Or maybe I should just buy a new board?

I think its the game... I get the restarts too there prety random and I passed 20hrs of memtest, superPI 32M OCCT, primed for 8hrs ran 3 looped of 3dmark03 and 05 Tried diferent drivers EVEN FORMATED! I even set all my setting to stock no OC and I still get reboots every now and then. its a buggy game

What is the diference with SuperPI and OCCT? sometimes I pass SuperPI and Fail OCCT and sometimes I pass OCCT and Fail SuperPI :confused:

I think its the 4 sticks of mem are holding me back... CPU Can do 10 X 266 stable with 2 X 512... mem can do 305HTT 2.5 4 4 8 with 2 X 512 Getting the for sticks to play together is was has me puzzeled :confused: Running superPI at 2.5 3 3 8 right now.
