+-geek-+ Posted June 19, 2003 Posted June 19, 2003 so i got 2 comps.....both win XP pro....2 PCI nic cards....exactly the same....put the card in one comp...loads up just fine...its plug and play so it installed it for me...put it in the compaq machine....no matter what PCI slot its in....nothin....doesnt see it...wont instal it....i just reformatted my HD and reinstalled XP....any ideas at all will be appreciated! +-geek-+ Posted June 28, 2003 Posted June 28, 2003 yep...im pretty sure thats what im doin....i have PLENTY of extra computer parts layin around...im sellin all them too...(4 motherboards,4 harddrives,5 CD drives, 5 floppies, 5 modems.....)...hopefully that'll get me enough money that i can get somthing a little nicer than my compaq....but before i sell everything i just want to make sure theres no way to get this thing to work...so far none...i have asked compaq support on their website...so far 2 responses...neither of them worked....it aint lookin good right now...
