I have used MBM5 for years and want to know if I can somehow get my sensors detected by MBM5. I have been using i8kfan and it works perfectly with all sensors detected so they are obviously there. look how well it works for my 2.8e self built system.

Ok, ebdoradz. Image shack doesn't holds a file that big (I don't think you want a jpg for a desktop. not enough resolution) but I'll see if I can find a host that'll do it. Or I can e-mail it...I don't know. Gimme some ideas.

Sorry for the goof up on the size again...I think I got it right this time.

As for the Evil Edition desktop...Hmmmm...I've had it for years and I don't remember off hand where I got it but I'll look. I added the "Cracked and Hacked" graphic myself. If you want I'll post the image in a thumbnail that you should be able to pick off of ImageShack...gimme a few. Do you have a preference on resolution?

I wouldn't think that the Core 2 Duo would be too much of a problem as the desktop that the image is from is a P4 E HT system and it reads the virtual second processor just fine. I think I have all the sensors from the 1505 and I think its just a matter of getting them into the Data folder in a couple of the ini files, I don't think that its in the main exe file. I kind of looked through that with Reshack and didn't really see anything that would control that. I may be over simplifing things but thats why I'm asking. If anyone know the process we could start a new MBM5 revolution...that is if Alex van Kaam would allow it.

It's going to be rough without the source code for MBM. As good as it is it's on its way out as for as future motherboards are concerned. The easiest and most future proof solution would be to use Everest. Design a graphical frontend and port the info to it using shared memory or WMI.

Hay Praz, I don't know if this is what your looking for but on

hxxp://mbm.livewiredev.com/mbmcode5.html

(don't want to upset the moderators any more than I have allready, but I hope this is ok.). I think there are a couple of other things listed there but this is a start. I'm not a coder so I don't know what to do with this stuff. I want to go to school to be something of an IT person but family and work are on the front burner right now and it may take me a few years to do it.:P

Problem for me with Everest is its not reading everything. I'm using i8kfanGUI and it senses everything but....

That won't give MBM any added capabilities. Sure you could use another program and push its values into MBM so that MBM will display them. But then MBM is nothing more then the graphical front end.

I'd love to see CoreTemp values in MBM5. Think it would be great.
