Trev Posted June 2, 2003 Posted June 2, 2003 Just had a stupid idea (or it could be great one depending weather you've had a beer or could actually pull it of). Anyway I was thinking in most houses here in the UK it's normal to use double glazing to stop outside noise so why can't this be used with pc's? after all it's just two sheets of glass held together with aluminium extrusion, so there must be a way of making side pannels like this. It would certainly look pretty OK, this is a really dumb idea... but what if you took ur CPU, put a HS and fan on top, and covered the heatsink with a silencer type thing for guns, if you could make one. Vampire Posted June 9, 2003 Posted June 9, 2003 what you do is this, put your cpu/video card/anything that has a fan into your roof in a custom built case and then run the IDE and power cables to like right besides you so you can put in a cd drive etc. Anything that you need just run cables down.
