Stability problems

Recommended Posts

Hello, I've just got my DFI LP 250GB up n running but found out that it aint stabile, the pics says it all...

Ive tested Cool'n'Quiet but to clear that out I disabled it for now.

I tested prime and pretty soon it showed a fatal error, as seen in the last pic, its running @stock(2000). The guy I bougt it from had it @2500 whithout any prime errors.

Any ideas?

Ok, I havent been able to boot seince I wrote the post... Last known good bla bla... fixed that.

Ive run memtest86+ for a few hours(~10 almost 50 passes), no errors.

Ill put up a screenshot with prime and smartguardian in a moment.

Edit:

I don't have a stronger psu but I have a antec 330W i could try.

The pics are now in the first post...

Ideas, anyone?

Your voltages are similar to mine, and system spec too except for the 9700. I am stable for over an hour at prime95 oc'd to 2470 MHz. So, I don't know if it is a weak psu. Do you have another video card to try, since that is really the difference between your system and mine?

That might be another psu, but I'm not sure that it is a better one.

When I was trying to post 2min ago it crashed on me, again :( . Here's the message for this time: http://www.imagezilla.com/imgs/1396320895_bsod.JPG.

I tried the other psu (Antec 330W) and my results where a little better:

But still the same result in the end :(

How can the mb be so demanding? Im not even overclocking nor use more than 1 hd and zero optical units, nothing extra.

Is the psu really to weak? I've worked hard to get the computer as quiet as possible, but If I must use a monster psu it wont be quiet enough. It's never been a problem with my nf2.

your 12 and 3.3 rails are way underpowered and not getting enuff juice to your system. It's not just the Nf3 chip that is the powerhog the A64s themself have a hefty appetite also. Add in other components 3 opticals, big phat HDD, not sure if the 9700s take a molex. But you see where I heading right.
