ClayMeow Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Here is Clays explanation of what it is doing. http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.p...st&p=754894 yay me! lol, j/k. Unforgivin, it happens with any image with an URL that doesn't end with an image extension (.jpg, .gif, .png).
Nerm Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Unfortunately allowing dynamic images in sigs is a security risk. The problem is that the html code that we are supposed to use for F@H sigs is being turned into a dynamic image code when the sig is saved. I am still looking into why the latter is happening. Yeah I know that, which is why I asked road for the code (usually has a "?" after the main URL.) Those never worked.
road-runner Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Yeah I know that, which is why I asked road for the code (usually has a "?" after the main URL.) Those never worked. I am using the same code for the folding images and the folding image code does it also. The problem lies when you click edit the signature the code is no longer there it is changed to where it no longer works so I have to re enter it every time I want to edit my sig. Seems like when you edit something it should stay the same unless I change it. But to answer your qustion this is what I put in every time. <a href="http://stats.free-dc.org/tag.php?name=road_runner" target="_blank"><img src="http://stats.free-dc.org/tag.php?name=road_runner" border="0"></a> When I click edit this is what it changes to: Dang cant even post it: Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed. Here is a screen shot of it.
ClayMeow Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 Exactly. Basically, like Nerm said, the issue here isn't that dynamic images aren't allowed, but rather why, after saving HTML code, it's converting it to BB code, despite it obviously "taking."
