yeah I was going to say to up the volts. I like OCCT because it can be set and work the way you want it to, and it will say wether or not you are stable (for those who don't know how to tell). you might want to turn down you ht a little, I noticed that it is up to 1300 that mobo should be able to handle 1333 but just for a higher oc you may want to turn it down a little. But I'm not 100% on intel oc'ing I just know what I've read, I only have AMD right now, will be making the jump in spring :)

Ok i put the vcore upto 1.4v i got past the bios and on the windows loading screen it crashed Voltage Values are :

CPU Core 1.4 V

FSB VTT 1.264 V

North Bridge Core 1.248 V

South Bridge Core 1.520 V

HyperTransport 1.264 V

DIMM 1.952 V

DIMM VTT 0.960 V

any ideas

Leave the CPU voltage alone. Set it @ 1.4 V for right now

Increase the chip set Volts but without knowing what motherboard you have, I can't give a safe number to increase it to.

I'd slowly bump up the FSB voltage & the NB voltages...

EDIT ::::

wow wait, I thought Hyper transport was a AMD thing not Intel ???

I think you mean Hyper Threading in which case does not apply to the Q6600 nor any of the COre 2 Line cpu's
