Yall might remember me, I used to be zigen (OCC's Lian Li guy :P ) on here. I'm back and started the build!

I haven't been on here for a LONG time, my car has inevitably been my money pit, and now it's time to build a new rig...

Gonna try for 3.6ghz or more on water...

First things first, I got a chance to score a cheap . E6700 rig:

All for $200 (mind you, it's all brand new) I got:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 @ 2.66 (dunno stepping/week/batch yet, haven't torn the HS off yet)

Intel DG965SS

2GB DDR2 RAM - Micron PC6400

74GB WD SATA Raptor HD

Micro ATX Case and PSU

Today, I just ordered:

Lian Li PC-A71A Case:

Soon I will order (within a few weeks):

PC Power and Cooling Silencer 610 (49amps on +12v)

DFI Lanparty UT P35-T2R

BFG 8800GTX 768MB

2GB G-Skill DDR2 800 PC6400 with the D9GMH chips

D-Tek Fuzion Block

Thermochill PA120.3

DD12VD5 Pump

3x 120mm Late Yoon 120mm Fans

I will be modding the case to house a window and 2 intake 120mm fans.

:) I'm excited for the build to come!

got my RAM, PSU and case in the mail :)

im using the mobo, the crucial ram that came with the $200 system and raptor hd right now.

I cant use the GSKILL on the DG965SS mobo because it only supports 1.8V vdimm and i need at least 2.0V on the gskill... It doesnt POST with the gskill haha

Have you tried booting with only one stick? How about using another stick of RAM, setting the voltage to 2V, then putting the G.Skill back in?
