gotdamojo06 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Which one would perform better? The San Diego or the Clawhammer? there is only a $6 difference on newegg and was thinking about purchasing it
SMeeD Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 I would go for the SD. The SD is newer and requires less power therefor making less heat. All SDs were meant to be FX-57s so they will natrually OC higher on average.

swifty11212 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 the bigger the nanometer of the chip, the more expensive it is for the company to make, hence the higher prices.
bigred Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 also original purchase price. clawhammers were top the line when used for the FX-55. the san diego version was NOT top of the line when used on the FX-55... the FX-57 was. these places are blowing those chips out NOW to cut thier losses before the price drops too much further.
