fatsheep Posted January 18, 2006 Posted January 18, 2006 Ok, I started up my computer and looked at smart guardian and for the first time I'm seeing voltages in red. Should I be worried about this? Here's a screenie:

Ste Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Programs aren't ever as accurate as a DMM is. If you have one use it. Whats your Power supply. I Don't see it listed..

Antec Truepower 550W: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103932 try a restart and see what it says That was the first thing I did, would have been nice if it fixed it right then and there but it didn't. <_< Programs aren't ever as accurate as a DMM is. If you have one use it. Don't have one, but if it's inexpensive I would consider it. -sheep

fire_storm Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Maybe the program is not that very acurte and giving you false readings. Check the bios and see what it says for voltage becuase that seems kinda odd but wouldn't those high voltages burn out your motherboard allready if they were really running that high? fatsheep Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Well the Bios Temps read fine so there must just be something messed up with smart guardian's temps... I'll look into getting a multimeter anyway... Thanks guys. -sheep
ccokeman Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 If you open CPUZ with smart guardian open you may see some funky results. Take a look at what your reading are in bios. I had to reset cmos to get mine cleared up.
