Shadowfactor Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 I have this DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR mobo and well when I get my new cooling I might want to go above 1.55 Vcore on it , but I dont see the option to do it. IS there anyway to go above 1.55 Vcore and is it safe on a Opteron 165 with like Xp-90 ?
ccokeman Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Yes there is. Its labeled as special vid i think. Just make sure you have a chart of the voltages that will result from the overage. Just found it. Set your startup value to 1.475v. Set CPU vid control to 1.45 or lower and adjust the special vid to get the voltage you want. Its all under the genie bios. lilkev715 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Despite what vCore you set in the BIOS the ACTUAL vCore is different as detailed in this thread.
