Fire-Medic Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Aren't the E6's dual core CPU's that had a bad core, and are sold as a retail single core processor only? I believe that's your difference between the first and the third.
LoArmistead Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 The second and third processors have the E6 stepping on them, and from what I've read, they can sometimes interfere with OCing/fan control... So I'd probably go with the first one.

Shipping DOES add up when it's 15$ here, 10$ there, etc.
Kamikaze_Badger Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Unless Newegg wants to ship everything seperately for you and you pay it up the butt with shipping anyway. Bad experience when buying my Saitek. Wanted to get a secondary keyboard, as I prefer gaming with two, but it would of costed me another $10 in shipping. 10Gauge Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 How long did it take you to save up that much? I myself would go nuts with a new proc and no mobo.
Guest Flashstar Posted November 30, 2005 Posted November 30, 2005 Just go with a 146 Opteron from Newegg. It is about the same price, yet it overclocks much better.
