Jacket Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 I have a **edit: Samsung** SV4002H: Specs: 5400RPM, 2MB buffer Cyl 19177 Heads 16 Precomp 0 Landing Zone 19176 Sector 255 It seems that the performance has been detracting a lot lately. I just reinstalled XP about 3 months ago, but this drive is still having a horrible read latency. Some of my games take ages to load and it can get quite frustrating, considering my computer isn't that craptastic. If anyone has any suggestions or any way to optimize a hard drive, let me know. He wisses he was dutch. I live in the very southwest edge of the netherlands. it's not connected to the rest of the netherlans because of a river, so we to drive though belgium to get anywhere. geographicly this part should be belguim, but it's better to be dutch.
