VolcomPimp Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 bah I think todays popular music sucks... especially mtv bah I hate mtv... but i can hardly listen 2 the radio anymore either... I think simple plan can suck it... thats just the industry tryin 2 capitalize on whatever genre you wanna call it... I dono I like some similar bands to them I guess that they are compared to but they suck... I mean really hard... I think once certain punk bands go big, the big labels try and brush up every aspect of the music... the sound quality, guitars, lyrics everything is changed... and then the band just sucks... bishop245 Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 IMO todays music is getting worse by the year and to many bands of all types are redoing songs from other artist cant they come up with their own stuff nowdays <_>
LAN Party Slut Posted February 11, 2003 Posted February 11, 2003 ya I agree with the whole covering songs and then not making up there own thing. You know offspring coverd an AFI song before AFI was played on the radio and Offsprings cover of the song was played a lot. Now if I was them I would be kinda pissed. DimensioN Posted February 12, 2003 Posted February 12, 2003 well i think rock isn't that good on party's, but if you're going snowboarding, it's ownage.. i more like techno, trance, but that's all boem , boem, boem, and always a different melodie, so i dunno if techno is really music.. but i like them all greetz

cptkook Posted February 13, 2003 Posted February 13, 2003 I think that every era has good and bad music. Sometimes more bad than good or vise versa, but I don't think that any era has had all bad, even now there is still quite a bit of good music out there.
