Propane Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Why, I ask you, is there no Lord of the Rings MMORPG... I mean, its set up perfectlly for an mmo, you have mutiple races, mutiple "professions", and a storyline all laid out, hell, they even give a map of the world... well, I guess this is just useless ranting... but I would really like to see something like this... gunak87 Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 Personally, I like to keep movies as movies and games as games.
Kash Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I personally haven't played the LOTR RPG yet, but I heard it was a pretty good game. I can see how a LOTR MMORPG would be a pretty cool game. It would be MASSIVE, which is a good thing of course
markiemrboo Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I read a while back they were making one. "Middle Earth Online" I think it was called...

Zeni Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 There is one, it's called World Of Warcraft, seeing as how 90% of the game is based on LotR in one way or another.
Revo Posted July 7, 2005 Posted July 7, 2005 It is not Middle Earth Online anymore, it's Lord of The Ring's Online... I don't have much hope for it anymore. Last summer my friend and I got into that game, watched every video out for it, posted on their forums, etc. We gained respect and knowledge on it. But ever since it was changed to LoTR Online, it seems that everything was changed. The combat looked sluggish and slow from the E3 videos, so I would stick with WoW.
