Onyks Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 I told my friend i would backup and reformat his hdd but my only question is how do i boot from his hard drive? is there something i have to change before i can put his hd in my computer or anything i should know...? answers asap if possible i said i would start on this business tonight. thx! spazmire11 Posted June 12, 2005 Posted June 12, 2005 is his hdd bootable? if it is then he should just use his own comp and a cd burner if it isent bootable then all that you have to do (asuming its a ide drive) is set the jumper to slave on it and put it in with your other drive then just copy and paste sata drives you can just plug in i beleve Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
