Ocing 3200+ Problems

Hey guys when i try to overclock my multiplier past 11.5 , windows wont boot up!! when its supposed to say windows loading i just get this black screen!? has this happened to anyone? also i want to get my multipier to 12.0 can some help me with this its currently running very stable at

 

206 x 11.5 @ 1.75 Vcore

Ram timings are at 2-2-2-5

 

 

my fsb or multiplier wont go up without that windows boot error happening?

Try loosening the ram timings., make sure you PCI lock is enabled (if you have one) If that all fails ontop of loosening the timins, add a divider.

ok i losened the timings but now when i get to that same spot during my boot process the computer restarts, i changed the timings to 2.5-4-4-8, still didnt work.

by the way whats a divider?

 

PCI lock i believe i do not have one of those.

you say your tryin to up the multi, well i kno mine is locked.so maybe yours is too.{mine is stuck at 11.5. any up or down,and its no go.}

strange... xp3200 should be 11x 200 at stock...

 

anyway... that ballistix should do at least 235 if not like 250-260... take the multi down to 11x or even 10x and let 'er rip!

How can I unlock An athlon 3200+ XP?? anyone know?

You cannot unlock them....my 3200+ came unlocked from amd...it is a pre week 39... check the numbers on the cpu. Mine is running at 227x11.5 with a vcore of 1.775....my OCZ ram is set at 2.7v and the timings are 2.5-3-3-11...But if you have a locked 3200+ you should be able to run it at 227x11 with an increase in your voltage.
