Lilmodder Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 Here's the deal, I'm building a comp for the first time and I need to know how to jump the motherboard properly. Is it anything like jumping a drive? Any tips will be greatly appriciated. Oh, and can you tell me if I'm getting ripped off or forgetting anything. Ronin Posted December 15, 2002 Posted December 15, 2002 ues pricewatch for everything. Also, I wouldnt go with ranbus RAM, intel has dropped support of that line of RAM so if you're looking to just do a memory upgrade a while down the road you're gonna want DDR. Id go with AMD too but there are others who would tell you intel is better...ofcourse those people are idiots read and be amazed

Bassdude1000 Posted December 18, 2002 Posted December 18, 2002 when buying off pricewatch, make sure you check the seller on www.resellerratings.com i almost bought a pc from a super cheap gaming company, till i checked there and, well, i got myself set strait. One thing you might do is just order it all of newegg.com.... may be a bit more expensive but it is one of the best resellers around.
