cybergrunt69 Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 most of the time, you don't need any slides on the side of the drive unless it's a "tool-less" OEM case. If you're having trouble sliding the drive into the chassis, try using a different slot in the front panel. You said it's a Sony drive - what model? What model Antec case? cybergrunt69 Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 I know the CD doesn't require rails, but I dunno about the case. it says the case comes with rails for the 5 1/4" bays, but I'm not sure if they're required. I'm not sure how big those rails are, but most that I've seen are fairly thin. It may be that you were trying to put them on the wrong row of screw holes on the CD.
