Is Raid 0 A Pain To Set Up?

Alright, so on my Christmas list I put another 80GB SATA 7200RPM Hitachi drive, so that I can RAID it with my current drive and have a nice, speedy, large space setup. But I've heard that RAID 0 is evil to set up. Can someone give me a comprehensive guide on how to quickly but properly set up my system for RAID, so that there aren't any hitches during install (Windows XP Home Edition Slipstreamed SP2)? Specs in sig.

Its not really a pain. I find the worst part about getting RAID 0 to setup is the driver installation, in that I create the floppy disk, but sometimes you need to have the drivers within a subfolder or maybe just on the root of the floppy. Usually a quick read through the readme file will tell you exaxtly how to put the drivers on the floppy.

Otherwise I believe Fxxp made a tutorial on how to setup RAID 0 in one of the forums. I don't believe it ever got to sticky status but just do a search to find your answer as this question is so redundant.

The main thing is to make sure you have your bios configured properly for it and you have your raid set built before you set up the drivers and your o/s install. The dfi manual is pretty vague on how to set the bios for it.
