GolDfiNger Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 hi all, im having problems getting my audigy drivers to work with xp pro. i got sevice pack 1 and the latest xp drivers from creative. xp says the device is installed but no drivers are installed for it? that is weird i saw that the drivers are not guaranteed to work with sp1, what the heck is that, am i not supposed to have sound for a year, its been what 6 months, any other thoughts thanks
d3bruts1d Posted November 7, 2002 Posted November 7, 2002 SP1 breaks a lot of things. I usually wait till SP2 is out before I upgrade. 1/2 the crap you don't need, the other 1/2 breaks something. - It broke my SBLive software when I tested it back in Sept when it was released. Anyway, I'd try removing the Creative Software and removing the device from device manage and reinstalling everything. See if that helps. Or.. better yet, uninstall SP1. Mercury Posted November 8, 2002 Posted November 8, 2002 i would just take off sp1, or if you cant do that, reformat. install drivers again, then just wait tell sp2, should work
