I won't disagree that Win 7 has a pretty extensive driver store - the earlier RTM versions where better than newer releases though. But honestly, I don't see the major challenge of spending 5 minutes at the m/b mfgs. website downloading the most recent qualified drivers.

 

On a positive note, the OEM Win 7 driver store is extensive enough to at least give you working hardware to start with about 99% of the time.

Yuck - although I'll concede that Arkansas' football team is a messy pile of poop this year. Why on earth would a cat from Mizzou be a Boomer Sooner?

Having all of them on hand pre-install is the safest way to go about, or at least the network one if your lazy.

 

There are also driver backups programs floating around, haven't used them myself but here's one ;

Wevssport, I was born and raised in Oklahoma. Brother its in my blood.

I downloaded all the drivers that I think I need , hope I need, on to a disc. I have a legal copy of Windows but I think someone borrowed it. I will start working on the boys computer Sunday morning.
