vandreadstriker Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 The D14 should fit but very tight and I'm concerned the big size would also be a problem. I was going to suggest the NH-U12P but I guess you'd need a smaller cooler.
NiMx1233 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 I think I'll buy a new CM casing, perhaps the CM Storm Enforcer, it seems ok, and the price is within my budget. Which verson of Hyper 212 is better?o.O
Stonerboy779 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 Evo is better and quieter.
NiMx1233 Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 What about V6GT?
vandreadstriker Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Evo is better and quieter. Really? I know that it has better performance but quiter? Always thought the Evo was a notch louder due to the fact that it moves more air (but less static pressure). What about V6GT? The V6GT should be better by a bit due to the fact that it's using a push pull config but IMO it really isn't worth it over the 212 Evo (you can get another fan for the Evo and still pay lesser then the V6GT). I personally think people buys the V6GT just for the looks Edit: OCC have reviewed both of the Cooler, thanks to airman http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cooler_master_v6gt/ http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cm_hyper212_evo/ Edited February 13, 2012 by vandreadstriker

Boinker Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 No the evolution is a lot quieter then the original hyper 212 plus.
PremiumAcc Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) No the evolution is a lot quieter then the original hyper 212 plus. This. And the cooling performance is comparable. Edit: If you are deciding between the Hyper 212+ and the Evo, ask yourself is the noise reduction worth ~$10 - 15 more. Boinker Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I'm going to go dig up a review I did for my own intellectual self and ill post it here so people can see the difference between a 212+ and evo.
