I am sorry, I am confused. If you are asking if you can replace the 120 exhaust fan with just a higher airflow fan then yes. However, I can only assume you want to install a 3rd fan? What are your reasons, wishes, and ideas? Please be more specific about what you are asking so that we can help you.

I don't think you see much a difference, I would get all the fans slots in your case filled thou, you would see some improvement on temps there.

There really is no point, maybe if your lucky would see a 1 degree difference.

@OP: Always concentrate on high cfm intake fans. Don't worry about exhaust. A mid end exhaust would be more than enough. Which comes to this: you don't need to upgrade the exhaust fan.
